What is Kitty?

Kitty is a platform where shopping at your favorite brands earns you free entries into our monthly cash giveaway. We've partnered with a wide range of popular brands, turning your everyday shopping into exciting opportunities to win.

How does Kitty work?

It’s simple! Browse the brands on our Shop & Earn Entries page and click the 'Shop Now' button on any brand page to be redirected to their website. Once you shop as usual, your purchases will earn you entries into our giveaways. The more you shop, the more entries you accumulate—and the longer you shop with us, the more loyalty bonuses you unlock.

How do I start shopping and earning entries?

First, create a free account with Kitty. Once you’re signed in, you can begin earning entries by browsing through our partnered brands and clicking the ‘Shop Now’ button on their page to start shopping. Make sure you always start your shopping journey from Kitty so your entries can be tracked.

Also, be sure to enable cookies and disable any ad-blockers or tracking prevention features to ensure everything is properly recorded.

Can I use Kitty without an account?

You’re welcome to browse our list of partner retailers without an account. However, to collect entries for your purchases, you’ll need to sign up and log in before you shop.

How does Kitty make money?

Kitty partners with various retailers to offer users the opportunity to earn entries into our monthly giveaways when they make purchases through our links. We receive a commission from these retailers for referring customers, which funds the giveaway ‘kitty.’

How many entries can I earn?

The number of entries you earn depends on the entry rate at each brand and how much you spend. Some brands might offer 1 entry per £/$, while others might give more.

In certain cases, you can earn entries by completing product or service applications, such as credit card sign-ups, without making a purchase. The number of entries for these actions will be clearly displayed.

Completing multiple transactions within a month or shopping consistently over time can earn you bonus Entries or lifetime multipliers on all your Entries via our loyalty program.

How are entries awarded?

After you make a purchase with one of our partner brands, your entries will appear as 'Pending' in your account after 24 hours until the retailer confirms the transaction. For most non-travel or non-subscription purchases, this process typically takes around 35 days – to account for the return period. However, this can vary depending on the store, so be sure to check the brand’s terms and conditions.

For hotel bookings, travel services, or purchases tied to policies or subscriptions, entries may take up to 90-120 days to be confirmed after you complete your stay or service.

Once a transaction is confirmed, your entries will be credited to your account within 24 hours and show as 'Awarded.'

In some cases, if we notice unusual purchasing patterns, additional verification may be required before entries are awarded. Each purchase is also subject to the retailer’s terms and conditions.

How are bonus entries awarded?

Transaction bonuses are awarded based on the number of transactions you complete within a month, while loyalty bonuses are awarded for consecutive months of shopping with us. These bonuses are credited 30 days after reaching each milestone (see the "How it works" page for details on milestones). During this time, we verify that all qualifying transactions are valid (not canceled or refunded). Once verified, the bonus entries will be added to your account and reflected in your Entries Breakdown. You can track the status of these bonuses in your Dashboard under the "Bonuses" tab.

The 30-day period aligns with the confirmation of your standard transaction entries, so both your transaction entries and bonus entries are likely to fall within the same giveaway. This timing increases your overall odds of winning by maximizing your entry count in a single draw.

In addition to transaction and loyalty bonuses, lifetime multipliers reward long-term engagement. Once you reach 12 months of consecutive shopping, all your entries will be multiplied by 1.5x, and after 24 consecutive months, by 2x. These multipliers apply automatically to all new entries, giving you an ongoing boost in our monthly giveaways.

Will I collect entries for shipping, handling, or tax included in my transaction?

No, entries are only awarded on the total amount spent on the actual product or service. Shipping, handling, and taxes are not eligible for entries.

If I am a member of a retailer’s own loyalty program, will I still collect entries?

Yes! You can still earn entries on top of any points or rewards from the retailer's own loyalty program, unless stated otherwise in the retailer’s terms and conditions.

I forgot to sign in to Kitty before shopping with a retailer. Can I still earn entries?

Unfortunately, no. To ensure your entries are tracked, you must begin your shopping journey through Kitty. Purchases made without starting from Kitty won’t be eligible for entries.

Why do I collect more entries with some retailers than with others?

Entry rates vary by retailer. So, the number of entries you can collect may vary. The current entry rate will always be clearly displayed on the retailer’s page.

Why have I collected a different number of entries from the same retailer?

Entry rates can fluctuate based on special promotions or changing offers. The entry rate displayed on the retailer’s page at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction.

What can cause entries not to be awarded?

There are several reasons why your entries may not be awarded, including:

  • You didn’t start your shopping from Kitty
  • The product was returned
  • Payment didn’t go through
  • You used a coupon code not listed on Kitty
  • Cookies were blocked, which stopped your transaction from being tracked
  • You used a reward site extension or browser add-on that interfered with tracking
  • You made your purchase through a retailer’s mobile app instead of a browser like Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Microsoft Edge
Can I earn entries by buying gift cards at participating retailers?

No, gift cards are generally not eligible for entries unless specified otherwise.

Can I earn entries by shopping on retailer apps?

No, you’ll need to complete your purchases through the retailer's website via a browser like Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Microsoft Edge to earn entries.

Why do I need to enable cookies?

Cookies are required for tracking your purchases and ensuring your entries are awarded correctly. They help us confirm your transactions with the retailer, so make sure they’re enabled to avoid any issues with earning entries.

Why do I need to disable AdBlockers?

AdBlockers can interfere with the tracking of your purchases, preventing your entries from being properly credited. Disabling them ensures that everything is tracked as it should be.

Is Kitty available with all online merchants?

Kitty has partnered with a range of popular online merchants, and we’re constantly adding more. Check the Shop & Earn Entries page for the latest list of partners. If you want us to prioritize a particular brand, feel free to raise a ticket in the 'My Account' section.

Can I shop at multiple stores through Kitty?

Yes! You can shop at as many stores as you like. Once you finish shopping with one retailer, return to Kitty and click ‘Shop Now’ on the page of the next store you’d like to shop at.  

Can I use Kitty on mobile devices?

Yes, you can use Kitty on both desktop and mobile devices. However, you’ll need to complete your purchases through retailer websites on a browser and not via retailer apps. Just be sure to disable AdBlockers and allow cookies.

Which cards can I use to pay with when shopping via Kitty?

You’ll be redirected to the retailer’s website, where they set their own accepted payment methods. In most cases, any major credit or debit card will be accepted.

Is it more expensive to shop via Kitty?

No, shopping through Kitty won’t cost you anything extra. This is because you are literally being redirected to the retailer’s website. You’ll pay the same prices but with the added benefit of earning entries into our giveaways just because you stopped by Kitty first.

I was interested in a retailer who is no longer listed. What happened?

Sometimes, retailers opt out of participating in Kitty. If a retailer is no longer offering entries, it means they’ve decided to stop participating in our program.

Where can I see my transaction history?

You can view all of your transactions and entries by logging into your account and navigating to the 'My Account' section.

What happens if I cancel my purchase or request a refund?

If you cancel or return your purchase, entries will not be awarded. If, for any reason, entries have already been credited to your account, they will be deducted.

I signed into my Kitty account and shopped, but my purchase isn’t showing up—why?

It can take up to five working days for your purchase to appear in your account as ‘Pending.’ If it still hasn’t shown up after that time, it could be due to tracking issues, such as cookies being blocked or AdBlockers being enabled.

My cookies are enabled, but my purchases still aren’t showing up—what should I do?

Kitty operates on a 'last referral' system. Here are some tips to ensure your purchases are tracked:

  • Sign into Kitty before you click ‘Shop Now’
  • Complete your purchase in a single session
  • Avoid using voucher codes not listed on Kitty
  • Don’t retrieve previously saved items from your cart

What do I do if I forget my password?

You can reset your password by clicking the 'Forgot Password?' link on the login page.

How do I update my personal details?

You can update your information by logging into your Kitty account and navigating to the 'My Account' section.

How do I claim missing entries?

For most transactions, entries will be credited within 35 days. However, for certain purchases like travel or subscription services, it may take up to 120 days. If the specified time has passed and you still haven’t received your entries, raise a support ticket in ‘My Account’ with the details of your transaction.

How do the giveaways work?

Our giveaways are drawn once per month. The prize amount for each giveaway will be listed on the Giveaways page and promoted throughout the website.

How are my entries submitted into the giveaway?

All confirmed Entries are automatically entered into the current month's giveaway. If a transaction is still pending at the time of the draw, those Entries will roll over and be entered into the following month’s giveaway.

When and how are winners chosen?

The giveaway draw happens live at the end of each month, with details available on the Giveaways page. One lucky winner is randomly selected from all eligible Entries for that month.

What happens if I win?

If you're the lucky winner, we'll contact you via phone and email to confirm where you’d like the money sent. You won’t need to share any banking details until you’ve been officially drawn as the winner.

When will I receive my prize?

Once we’ve confirmed your payment details, your prize money will be sent within 24 hours of the draw.
